The Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-political
and non-profit making organisation for businesses
within Salisbury & its
District
The aims of the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce are wide and far-reaching.
We provide many opportunities to businesses not only by organising workable
networking like our popular monthly 90 Minutes lunches; but by also taking
businesses out of formal business surroundings and organising events like
pub quizzes, annual golf tournaments and hog roasts. (For a full list of
events, please see DIARY).
Salisbury & District Chamber is especially active
on behalf of their Members and the business community working on their
behalf by being their voice. The President of the Chamber of Commerce,
Louise Howard sits on many Boards such as Vision, 5 EP’s and SWEP.
By sitting on these Boards, we carry forward the voice of the businesses to those
who need to hear how businesses feel about their City & District and how it is
run on a local and county level.
We strive to make a difference and we are
active in promoting activities and plans that may benefit or improve the
commercial, industrial and professional workings of the City & District. We
also work closely with other organisations such as Salisbury City
Management, FSB and Business Link.
It is very easy to feel isolated when you are in business and we believe in
bringing businesses together. No matter the size of a business, together we
can all work towards making the trials facing businesses less of a challenge.
We hope that by being a Member to the Salisbury & District Chamber the
many benefits we offer will have a positive and direct effect on the progress
of an organisation.
