The Royal Oak public house is about two miles from the city centre in Devizes Road.
Run by Anne and Gary Jamieson, the public bar has darts and a pool table and the lounge bar has fantastic views over Old Sarum.
It's very popular on Sunday when you can order a traditional Sunday roast.
Bookings are advised and food is served between 12pm and 4pm.
During the rest of the week a good selection of bar meals are served.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 4pm to 11pm, Saturday 12pm to 11pm and Sunday 12pm to 10:30pm.
In September the pub will undergo a total refit and anyone interested can view the plans which are on display in both bars.
