What is a megapixel?

Anyone using or contemplating use of a digital camera in the next few months needs to check out a fabulous piece of software I've discovered. The program is called Irfanview and it has become so invaluable to me I'd pay quite a lot to keep it but the great thing is it's free for home users (and only 10 Euros for business use).

IBM is finally bowing out of the PC market and has sold it's PC division to Lenovo (a Chinese company) for over £300 million in cash plus a large stake in the new company - the total deal is worth about £900 million.

How often have you received an email that mentions an attachment only to find that nothing is attached. This could be because the attachment has been stripped from the email due to an embedded virus but it is much more likely that the sender just forgot to attach it in the first place.

In the good old days (before November 2003) you used to go to Google and type in a phrase, press Enter and nine times out of ten the first page listed was exactly what you were looking for - I even used to use the "I'm feeling lucky" button on Google's home page - all this does is bypass the results list and show you the page which would have been top of the list.
