Skiing trip for Leehurst pupils
LEEHURST Swan pupils in years six to ten have recently returned from a skiing break in Saas Grund, Switzerland.
The trip saw even beginners able to ski the 12km run back down to the hotel by midweek, with the advanced group returning each afternoon totally exhausted and thoroughly challenged.
Skiing is offered as a GCSE PE option and the ski company provided a high quality opportunity for a top grade to be achieved by one of our pupils this year and has given numerous Year 9 pupils the chance of similar success next year.
