WRITER and broadcaster Hugo Vickers, pictured right, is giving a talk on Cecil Beaton at Salisbury Museum on August 28.

The Cecil Beaton at Home exhibition at the museum is proving extremely popular and Vickers is returning following a previous sell-out talk.

At Beaton’s request, Vickers became his authorised biographer and was granted access to voluminous unpublished material.

His lecture tells Beaton’s story in his own words and is lavishly illustrated with examples on his finest work.

Tickets for the lecture, from 6pm to 7pm, are £12 to include entry into the Cecil Beaton at Home exhibition.

To book, call the museum on 01722 332151.
