THE Wellington family of schools sees the introduction of a new child care facility called The Nest to complement the recently opened Wellington Primary and the improving Wellington Academy. There is a thriving environment within the Multi Academy Trust.
Impressive Sixth Form Results
THE academy sent a record 49 students to university in August 2014, which was 70 per cent of the sixth form. This was twice the 2013 figure. Six students from the last academic year are attending Russell Group universities, compared with two the previous year.
Investing in the future
CONSTRUCTION has started on our new teaching block. The new building is scheduled for completion in August 2015 and will house the maths and humanities department. Eleven new classrooms, a large study area, large common room and office space, will ease the increase in pupil numbers expected in the Tidworth community area as a result of the Army rebasing and housing development in the area.
