HELLO everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang page.
This week we have a Roald Dahl theme to the Gang Page. I expect you’ve read or listened to some of his fantastic stories. He wrote lots of brilliant books like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The BFG, George’s Marvellous Medicine and The Twits.
He also wrote James and the Giant Peach which was performed at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton at the weekend. Here is a picture of Keara Redding and her brother Jake in front of the theatre after Keara won tickets to see the show in a Gang competition.
Children at Manor Fields Primary School have also been learning about Roald Dahl’s books.
We’ll be finding out how they got on and you could also win some Bananas in Pyjamas goodies ahead of their visit to the City Hall.
