Have you ever been fishing?
It can be lots of fun in rivers, lakes or rock pools – just as long as you are careful, and don’t fall in!
This week I’ve received an email about six-year-old Maddox Cappleman, who appears to have a talent for fishing. Maddox went to the Bowood House Country Fair recently where a fisherman taught him how to catch fish.
About five minutes later Maddox caught a huge pike which had lots of very sharp teeth. It was so big Maddox needed help to lift it out of the water on his rod and everyone clapped when they saw what a large fish he had caught.
After he had his picture taken, the pike was put back in the river but Maddox said he would definitely like to try fishing again. Well done Maddox and thanks for sending in this great photograph.
This week we are finding out more about the mysterious UFO that landed in the field of St Mark’s School and you could win a family ticket to see the fantastic Stick Man at the Nuffield Theatre in Southampton.
