Going the extra mile for Sport Relief

First published in Gang Page

HELLO everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang.

We have a very sporty theme to this week’s Gang page as I know that lots of you took part in Sport Relief events on Friday.

Sport Relief is a great way of raising money for charity and getting fit at the same time.

Sport Relief Mile events were held all over Salisbury and here is a picture of two girls from Western Downland School taking part in their milelong challenge. Well done.

Also this week we are finding out how the children of Dinton Primary School have been keeping fit and healthy by taking part in a winter sports festival, and there are lots of birthdays to celebrate too.

The Gang competition isn’t quite so healthy as I have delicious Easter eggs up for grabs but I’m sure it won’t take long for the busy and active members of the Journal Gang to burn off the calories from the chocolate.

See you next time,
