Hi everyone and a very warm welcome to the Gang page. I know that lots of Gang members love singing, but would you like to appear on stage?

Salisbury Amateur Operatic Society is preparing for its December production The King and I and they are looking for 24 boys and girls to take part.

They need two teams of 12 children for the chorus and there are two principal parts of Louis and the Prince. All the children need to be a maximum height of 4ft 6ins and be under 13-years-old.

Auditions take place on Sunday, June 29 at St Michael's Community Centre in Bemerton Heath at 12 noon for principal parts and 1pm for the chorus. The budding performers will be asked to sing and act pieces they will be given on the day.

If you would like to register for the auditions call Elaine Davenport on 01722 503034 before Wednesday, June 25.

This week we'll be finding out about another star, Gang member Charlotte Mortimer who has been raising money for Epilepsy Action and there are tickets to the Blue Reef Aquarium up for grabs.

No wonder that lucky Gang winner Niamh Batty is smiling, she's off to Legoland Windsor after she won a recent competition.

Well done Niamh have a great time.

I'll see you next week,
Jill
