Enjoy the summer fetes

Greetings Gang and a very warm welcome to your page.

What a busy weekend it has been with all the fetes, parades and processions going on.

I know that hundreds of you have been dressing up and taking part in the events and many more have been going along to join the fun.

In Winterslow children dressed as animals took part in a creature carnival and there were lots of colourful outfits at the annual Whiteparish fete too.

Have a great time if you are taking part in any of these summer events and why not send in a picture to the Journal Gang too?

This week we'll be meeting some young poets who have won an award and will see their work in print.

Also you could be off to New Forest Show and we'll have all the usual birthdays and winners to announce.

Here is a picture of Chloe Potter who won these great High School Musical stickers and album, well done Chloe.

I'll see you all next week,
Jill
