It's so exciting to see Olympic Torch tour

HELLO everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang page.

The Olympic Torch arrives in Salisbury on Wednesday as part of its tour of the country before the Olympic Games.

This is going to be a very exciting event with lots of people hoping to see the Torch.

You can also see it next Thursday morning as it leaves Salisbury Cathedral and goes through Wilton.

The torch is being carried by famous people and those who have done lots of good work for their community.

Maybe you know someone who is carrying it? If you go along to see the Torch, why not take a picture and send it to the Gang page?

Gang winner Oliver Romain was flying high when he won tickets to Yeovilton Air Day.

Oliver said he had a great time and loved watching all the noisy areoplanes and seeing the coloured smoke.

Here’s a picture of Oliver sitting in one of the helicopters.

Well done, it looks like you had a fantastic day.

This week we’re finding out how children in Amesbury have been making sure they get to school safely with their walking bus and you could win delicious chocolate from Hotel Chocolat.

See you next week, Jill
