HELLO everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang page. Have you been watching the Olympics? I think it’s been fantastic to watch all the different sports and cheer on the teams.
The great thing about the Olympics is that you get to watch sports that aren’t usually on television. In the last few days I’ve seen handball, canoe slalom, water polo and gymnastics and they have all been very interesting to watch. Have any of you been lucky enough to go to see the Games? If so I’d love to hear all about your experiences.
On to winners of a different kind – here is a picture of Billy Johnson (above) who won this huge bar of chocolate in the Hotel Chocolat competition. Well done Billy I hope you enjoy tucking in to your delicious prize. This week we’re going to be meeting some fantastic fundraisers from local schools and you could win a jelly bean machine full of delicious treats.
