HELLO everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang.
Have you been away on a summer holiday? I know that one lucky Gang member has just returned from St Audries Bay Holiday Park after he won a Journal Gang competition earlier in the year. Tim Baker, who is nine, spent a week at the holiday park and said he had a fantastic time in glorious sunshine.
Tim sent in this picture of himself at the park with his brother Jonathan, club host Ian Moore and head chef JP.
Tim said: “We had a great time with activities including golf, swimming, tennis and quick cricket as well as going to the beach, exploring, crab fishing and looking for fossils.
The food was fantastic, especially the chocolate fudge cake. I made new friends and hope to go again next year.
Thank you St Audries Bay”.
Well done Tim, I’m glad you had a great time.
This week we are finding out about some magical events happening at the library and you could be off to see The G o l d e n Cowpat at S a l i s b u r y Playhouse.
I’d like to wish a belated but very happy birthday to Finlay Seddon, who was five on August 15.
Finlay goes to Coombe Bissett School and was very excited about his birthday. Happy birthday, Finlay, I hope you had a fantastic time and got some great presents.
See you next week, Jill
