The Wylye Valley is one of the five picturesque valleys that radiate out from Salisbury and it is surrounded by some of the most attractive countryside in this part of the West Country. Windrush House is set nicely back from the road behind a high hedge and a close-board fence, which gives privacy. A paved drive and path lead from the pavement to the double garage and onto the front entrance. A gravel path leads around the side of the house to a gated entrance into the back gardens, which are simply but attractively laid out for easy maintenance with well kept lawns and colourful borders. Immediately behind the house, there is a paved terrace area with French doors from the drawing room.
Attached to the south side of the house, is a brick built pitch roofed Double Garage (19' x 18'(5.79m x 5.49m)). The garage has two up-and-over doors, a large attic/storage area and personal doors into the house and the back gardens.
Leave Salisbury on the A36 heading west through the villages of Wilton, South Newton and Stapleford. Approximately 2 miles after you leave Stapleford, turn left at the sign post to The Langfords. Follow the lane down into the village and The Wirr is the second turning on the left just after the bus stop on the right. Windrush House is then first on the left.
