FROGHAM Fair celebrated its 55th anniversary at the weekend.
The fair, which takes place next to the Foresters Arms, welcomed 1,800 people to the sunshine-filled event on Saturday, June 24 for entertainment, food and drinks and a whole lot of laughter.
The dog agility and dog shows, the yearly terrier racing, Pony Club events and the Gosport Steampunk Society all amused crowds with the event fundraising for the local village hall in Frogham as well as the 15-20 charities the local area supports.
Accompanied by sunshine and joy, treasurer John French states that it was a “family-fun day” where the “weather was lovely” for all the events; he said that it was down on the number of people on last year however the fair still shined.
The final part came with the wheelbarrow race so people could move out of the field and watch as those taking part raced to the finish line to then leave the fair at around 5 o’clock.
