SHERIDAN’S classic play The Rivals is coming to Fisherton Mill next month.
Billed as a night of “unrivalled wit”, the production by Creative Cow theatre company, which is working in association with the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford, is on a nationwide tour and will be in Salisbury from November 8 to 10.
Set in the 1700s, The Rivals tells the story of a day in the life of a circle of socialites swooping in on the fashionable city of Bath, to take the waters, find romance and have a jolly good gossip.
Katherine Senior of Creative Cow said: “We’re very excited about this new production.
“It’s a hugely enjoyable and expertly crafted piece of theatre that audiences just love.
“We’ve worked hard, and had huge fun, making sure we get the very best from it for our audiences.
“In other words, we’re presenting a great night out and we’re very much looking forward to coming to Salisbury.”
Creative Cow was founded in 2007 and gained its name after being conceived on a cattle farm in Devon, where productions continue to be managed and rehearsed before touring.
