Mayflower show is a record-breaker

The cast of Mousetrap.
THE Mousetrap at Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre has proved to be the most successful ever week-long production performed there.
Nearly 18,000 people went to see the production, breaking the record previously held by a production of Rebecca starring Nigel Havers in 2005.
Two extra matinees were added to the schedule to keep up with demand for tickets.
The touring production, which celebrates the long-running Agatha Christie play’s 60th anniversary, is now at St Martin’s Theatre in London.
