New conductor for Musical Society

Ian Wicks
A NEW conductor has taken up the baton at Salisbury Musical Society.
Ian Wicks has been appointed assistant conductor following a series of open auditions. He is currently director of music and assistant headteacher at Salisbury Cathedral School.
He has conducted The Romsey Singers since 2002 and is the founder and conductor of the Salisbury Cathedral Junior Choir.
Ian is also a composer who has written a number of choral pieces for both children and adult choirs.
