THE Wizard of Oz comes over the rainbow to Salisbury City Hall next month.

Dorothy, pictured, and her friends the Cowardly Lion, The Scarecrow, Tinman, and not forgetting Toto the dog, will be following the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City.

Musical Theatre Salisbury brings L Frank Baum’s tale to the City Hall with Barry E Mcllroy taking the reins as director, Liz Weager as musical director and Ian Hooper conducting the orchestra.

Dorothy is played by 16-year-old Natasha George with Matt Sparkes, Dave Simmons and Robert Preedy taking the roles of her fantastical friends.

The show will run from December 4 to 8.

Tickets are on sale from City Hall box office on 01722 434434 or at cityhallsalisbury.co.uk.

The Saturday matinee is sold out but tickets are available for all the evening performances.
