TICKETS are now on sale for Salisbury Chamber Chorus’ A German Christmas which will raise money for Salisbury District Hospital’s Pembroke cancer unit.
The concert features plenty of German carols from Bach to Silent Night, plus music from a bit further afield including Sweden and Russia.
There will also be performances by the St Thomas’ handbell ringers, the Salisbury Frauenchor and soloists from Voices.
The choir will be directed by Simon McEnery.
Guests will enjoy a German supper and a warming glass of Glühwein on arrival, and there will be a festive atmosphere with the hint of a yodel across the mountains.
The event follows the Chamber Chorus’ successful Puccini concert earlier in the year.
It takes place at The Medieval Hall in the Cathedral Close on Wednesday, December 19 at 7pm.
Tickets are £17.50 each and are only available in advance by calling 01722 335486.
