Special show for autistic children
PEOPLE whose children need a more relaxed theatre performance can take them along to a special showing of the Forest Forge theatre company’s latest touring production.
A relaxed performance of Midnight is a Place will be put on in Ringwood especially for children with autistic spectrum disorders or learning difficulties, who can enjoy the show in a safe, calming and supportive environment.
Information about the show and the venue can be sent to parents beforehand.
Midnight is a Place is an adaptation of the children’s story by Joan Aiken following the magical journey of two children from a sinister carpet mill to the underground of the town of Blastburn.
It promises to be an uplifting family tale.
The relaxed performance will be at the Theatre Centre in Ringwood on January 3.
Tickets are available at forestforge.co.uk, where full details of the tour can also be found.
