THERE is plenty coming up to entertain youngsters at Salisbury Playhouse.

A Monster in my Piano, suitable for children from aged four, promises to be an “offbeat, jazzy tale” presented by Garlic Theatre.

Pied Piper Theatre Company brings My Big Little Sister, where audiences meet Ruby who always wants to be someone else – a popstar, a model, a princess, but her mother says she should be careful what you wish for (suitable for four to eight year olds).

Based on the popular book by Jonathan Emmett, Bringing Down the Moon follows Mole, who sees the moon for the very first time.

This is described as a “heart-warming tale of friendship, aspiration, adventure and a little bit of mischief”, and is suitable for three to seven year olds.

My Big Little Sister is on February 15, There’s a Monster in my Piano is February 11 and Bringing Down the Moon can be seen on February 16.

The Playhouse is also offering Plays in a Day sessions, when youngsters can work with professionals to create their own shows.

For those aged five to seven, Journey Around the World will take place on February 12, 11am to 3pm. For eight to 10 year olds, Museum Adventure is on February 13, 10am to 5pm. And for those aged 11 and up, Travels in Times will be explored on February 14 from 10am to 5pm.
