AN innovative photography exhibition is coming to Fisherton Mill this weekend.

See Art in Photography will feature the work of Broad Chalke-based landscape photographer, Ken Leslie, who is a recent recipient of the Landscape Photographer of the Year award.

It will showcase a variety of his work, contrasting stunning large vistas with more intimate, compact images and “inner landscapes”.

Also on show will be the work of Robert Rootes, Micky Thompson, Richard Turley and Nick Tynan.

Rootes began his career in fashion photography and then television editing but his photography now takes centre stage, focusing on light within land and seascapes.

Thompson’s current body of work centres around the distillation of imagery, while Turley is inspired by the Cornish coast.

Tynan’s work is carried out indoors in offices, studios and music venues, manipulating people and objects.

* See Art in Photography runs in the Main Gallery at Fisherton Mill, Fisherton Street, Salisbury from Saturday, May 18 to June 15.

Entrance is free and the gallery is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 10am to 5pm and Saturdays 9.30am to 5.30pm.
