Art show brightens up hospital
ART is brightening up the corridors at Salisbury District Hospital.
New Seasons, the Clarendon Art Group exhibition opened at the hospital on September 14 and runs until October 18.
The Clarendon Art Group is an informal collective of local artists who meet weekly in Farley to create, inspire and learn new art techniques.
Their latest work encompasses the four seasons and can be seen on level 3 and 4 main corridors, free of charge.
Also on show is work by GCSE art students from Trafalgar School in Downton.
Their paintings and photographs have been inspired by portraiture, natural forms, macro views of flowers and fruit studies.
Follow the school arts department on Twitter @TTS_Arts.
The students’ work will be on display in the level 3 plastic surgery corridor until November 8.
