Step back in time with trio of 80s popstars
A TRIO of well-loved groups that have been performing since the 1980s are playing all their hits at Salisbury City Hall this week.
Go West will be joined on stage by Hue and Cry and special guests The Christians for Tuesday night’s concert.
Celebrating over 25 years together, Go West had their first hit We Close Our Eyes in 1985.
It was the first of many including Call Me, Goodbye Girl and Don’t Look Down. They won a Brit Award in 1986 .
Hue and Cry burst onto the UK music scene in the late 1980s with the successful albums Seduced and Abandoned and Remote. The band produced hit singles such as Labour of Love, Violently, and Looking for Linda and will be performing as an acoustic duo.
Merseyside stars The Christians were prime movers in the soul scene that emerged out of the north-west at the end of the’80s.
Now The Christians are back – with frontman Garry Christian still sporting the Raybans.
The concert takes place on Tuesday, November 5 at 7.30pm.
