RECREATING the magic and excitement of New Year’s Day in Vienna, the London Gala Orchestra will be directed from the violin in authentic Strauss style in a concert at Salisbury City Hall on Friday.
This year’s programme is designed to showcase the best of 19th-century music and will be packed full of classics from the Strauss family, plus, for the first time ever, all-time greats from Lehar and Kalman.
Andrew Wickes, compere and tenor, will be joined by award-winning soprano Paula Sides to present a new style of programme.
