AUTHOR Terry Pratchett dropped in to Studio Theatre in Salisbury ahead of the group’s production of Making Money next week. Following the success of the theatre’s production of Sir Terry’s Going Postal last year, it is staging the sequel next week.

Chris Hawley was commissioned to adapt Sir Terry’s novel and is also directing the play, which opens on Thursday.

The author, who lives in Broad Chalke, paid the cast a visit during rehearsals and watched the adventures of Moist von Lipwig, played by Stew Taylor, this time coping with the machinations of the banking world.

The play is on from Thursday to Saturday next week, and from February 25 to March 1, with tickets at £10, or £8 for concessions.

Sir Terry will also be attending the opening night, and tickets for the run are selling fast.

Bookings can be made at Salisbury Information Centre in Fish Row on 01722 342860.
