A POET in love with tea is going to be holding a face-to-face meeting with some of her Twitter followers.
Elizabeth Darcy Jones will be hosting 'personal one-toones' in Beatons Tearooms and Bookshop in Tisbury.
The poet will be promoting live interaction at what she's called a Tweeps Tea at Beatons tomorrow at 3.30pm She said: “I will be there to turn tweets into real people, going from table to table.
There will be poetry and a lot will be about tea, but most importantly, we will be helping to move people away from their screens.”
Darcy Jones, who lives in Herefordshire but knows Beatons Tearooms and Bookshop well, will take advantage of her visit to seek out tea-rooms of character in Wessex for the next in her Tea Trails series – pocket-sized guides to tea shops and local attractions.

Connect via Twitter @beatonstearooms, and tweeters using the hashtag #tweepstea will go on the list to be given a free scone with their tea.
