TALENTED local artists will be showing off their work at the Wessex Area of National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies’ ArtFest in Wilton.
The show is a chance for members of the societies to exhibit their work, and 36 pieces from 18 societies in the Wessex region will be on display.
To start the event, Clive Stewart-Lockhart, managing director of Woolley and Wallis auctioneers and an expert on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow, will be giving a short lecture.
He will talk about the Australian bird paintings of George Raper.
Members of the public are invited to attend the ArtFest which takes place on Wednesday, March 12, at the Michael Herbert Hall in Wilton.
The lecture is at noon and viewing is from 2pm to 3pm.
