JAZZ trio Adam’s Apple will launch this year’s Whiteparish Music Festival, which runs from May 3 to 11.

The Jazz in the Church concert will include toe-tapping arrangements of well known hymns along with popular jazz standards.

This well-established trio are veterans of Bath and Glastonbury abbeys and Bath International Music Festival. Adam Biggs leads the group and plays piano, alongside Ben Groenevelt on double bass and Rob Brian on drums and percussion.

This opening event of Whiteparish Music Festival will be followed on Wednesday, May 7 with Music for a Summer’s Night, an evening of operatic songs from international mezzo soprano Louise Innes, and finishes on Sunday, May 11 with Sarum Six, a Salisbury-based vocal ensemble.

Tickets are £10 or £15 and are available from The Music Room in Catherine Street, Salisbury or from Whiteparish Village Stores.
