A NEWexhibition is opening at Studio 53 in Salisbury this weekend to raise money for the Veronica Stewart Arts Trust.

Paper Sticks & Stones features work by photographer Tom Howard, who has 20 years’ experience in celebrity and reportage photography.

There will also be artwork from Paul Wilson, whose work explores the relationship and contrasts between manmade and organic forms, and Matt Cutts, a rural artist who lives on the Wiltshire Downs and gains inspiration from being outside.

The exhibition will be raising money for the trust, which was set up in memory of Veronica Stewart, who was a passionate supporter of the arts in the Salisbury area until she died of cancer in April 2011. To keep her passion alive, her family set up an arts trust dedicated to helping young people further their career in the arts world.

The exhibition will be open on Saturday and Sunday as well as May 10 and 11, from 10am to 5pm.
