BIG and bold, oil and pencil, colourful and minimalist are just some of the striking contrasts that can be drawn between the work of two artists showing their work at Fisherton Mill from this weekend.

Sally Firino’s line drawings are reduced to such a bare pencil minimum that viewers have to imagine the detail for themselves while Louise Luton paints dramatic scenes and big skies depicting nature in its raw beauty.

Both are well known local artists who have exhibited widely.

Through Line and Colour opens at Fisherton Mill’s main gallery on Saturday and runs until May 31.

The exhibition is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
