FRONTMAN of Scottish indie rock band turned solo folk performer Roddy Woomble arrived in Salisbury on Tuesday night on his solo tour.
Support came from local singer/songwriter Pete Leonard, who played a mixture of his solo material with a few of his band Stone Donkey Pilots’ repertoire thrown in for good measure.
Woomble was accompanied by some exceptional musicians, including Hannah Fisher, winner of Scottish Young Classic Musician, on fiddle.
The crowd sat at candlelit tables, which created a nice relaxed atmosphere in what was a perfect setting for a midweek show.
