IT’S all aboard the Titfield Thunderbolt for the members of Salisbury’s Studio Theatre.
The group will be staging the muchloved Ealing comedy classic, adapted for the stage by Philip Goulding, for their next production.
When the Mallingford to Titfield branch line is threatened with closure a group of villagers, led by Lady Edna Chesterford (Lesley Bates) and the Revd Sam Weech (Alistair Faulkner), rally round to keep the train on track.
The Titfield Thunderbolt is a riotous ride that’s full steam ahead.
The play opens at the theatre in Ashley Road on Monday, May 12 and runs until Saturday, May 17.
Tickets are £10 (£8 concessions) and available from Salisbury Information Centre, Fish Row, 01722 342860.
