PHOTOGRAPHS from a Salisbury Trust for the Homeless competition are being exhibited at Salisbury Library throughout May.
The public were invited to enter three snapshots in three categories: weather, 21st century and small, to be judged by Sheila and Peter Read.
The winter floods in the area featured in many of the weather pictures, including Shirlie Williams’ first prize for a watery Queen Elizabeth Gardens.
Peter Street’s modern London skyline topped the varied subjects in the 21st century category, and the winning picture by Clare Aston was of a homeless man crouched in the corner of a large underground stairway.
In the junior section, Sam Wood entered prize-winning shots.
Vouchers from local restaurants were presented to the winners by Salisbury Mayor Penny Brown.
