CHARLIE and Lola are superstars of children’s literature and they will be visiting Salisbury Playhouse in their Bestest Play next week.
The brother and sister from Lauren Child’s popular books and hit TV series will be brought to life in their extremely everso wonderful stage show with a magical mix of puppets, live action and music.
Will Charlie ever get Lola to sleep, even though she is not sleepy and will not go to bed? It won’t be easy – the Tigers want their bedtime milk, the Dancing Dogs have borrowed Lola’s pyjamas and Lola thinks there is an ogre hiding in the wardrobe.
n Charlie and Lola’s Best Bestest Play is at Salisbury Playhouse on Saturday, June 14 (11am, 1.30pm and 4pm) and Sunday, June 15 (11am and 1.30pm).
The 11am performance on Sunday will be a relaxed performance.
Relaxed performances are tailored and aimed at anyone who might find it difficult to sit quietly and still for an entire performance, or who is uncomfortable with sudden lighting changes or loud noises.
They are particularly suitable for those on the autistic spectrum and extra spaces have been made for wheelchairs. For tickets or further information please contact the box office on 01722 320333 or visit salisburyplayhouse.com.
