Varied repertoire at Backman Trio concert
THE Backman Trio will be performing in Salisbury on Saturday, June 14 following the release of their new album Fantasia.
The trio comprises Frida Backman on violin, Ruth Beedham on cello and Marcus Andrews on piano and has a wide repertoire.
The musicians will be performing some of the pieces from their new CD of romantic British and Finnish piano trios including Bergman Trio Op. 2, Bridge Phantasie and the unpublished Korpo Trio by Sibelius.
The concert takes place at St Martin’s Church, Salisbury at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £10/£8, including a drink, and are available on the door.
