SALISBURY Group of Artists will hold their Summer Exhibition at Salisbury Library Galleries.
Opening on Saturday, July 5, it will run until Saturday, July 26 during library opening hours.
Entry to the show is free, offering visitors the chance to view a varied range of exhibits and buy an original artwork.
Last year’s picture sales totalled £2,415.
All entries to the exhibition are assessed before being included for display and the artwork judged Best in Show is awarded the Edwin Young Trophy.
This year’s judge is artist and tutor Barbara Green. Her own paintings are inspired by the Dorset countryside and she works in a variety of media – oils, watercolours, collagraph, monoprinting, acrylic and batik. She has a studio at Bridport and trained at Trent Park College as a teacher specialising in art.
The Salisbury Group of Artists is always glad to welcome new members and there will be opportunities at the exhibition to learn more about the organisation and what membership can offer.
