VIOLINIST Nigel Kennedy brings his acclaimed concert series Bach Plus to Salisbury City Hall next Saturday.
Kennedy presents a typically maverick musical programme celebrating the music of Bach as well as other composers who have influenced him.
The concert will begin with Bach sonatas and partitas for solo violin, after which Kennedy will be joined by an acoustic guitarist, a snare drum and a double bass to perform his own arrangements of the music of the legendary Fats Waller and Brubeck, as well as other composers and classical crossover pieces such as Monti's Czardas, Danny Boy and more.
The concert, on Saturday, July 5, promises to be a hugely entertaining and enjoyable evening where skill and passion come together for an electrifying evening of music.
