LEGENDARY West Country songsters The Wurzels are performing at River Bourne Community Farm next weekend.
The event kicks off at 3pm and features live music from Lady Windwood’s Maggot, top covers band Drop The Fish, The Dan Sowerby Band playing original blues and Stone Donkey Pilots, the winners of best Salisbury band 2013, playing their blend of folk and bluegrass.
There will also be children’s entertainment, an all-day barbecue and a bar selling Hopback real ales and Cranborne Chase Ciders.
Tickets cost £16.50 in advance plus a booking fee, children under 10 go free, available from seetickets.com.
RIVER Bourne Community Farm is offering a pair of tickets for The Wurzels for one person who is able to name the founder and former front man of the band. Write the answer and your name and telephone number on a postcard and post to Wurzels Competition, River Bourne Community Farm, Cow Lane, Laverstock, Salisbury, SP1 2SR. The winner will be chosen at random and notified on August 6.
