YOUNG people aged 4-25 who are interested in the theatre and performing are being invited to join Salisbury Playhouse’s Stage ’65 Youth Theatre.

Registration is now open for the new term which begins in September and places are available in both Salisbury and Trowbridge.

Members attend weekly workshops in which they learn performance skills, make new friends and work towards an informal sharing of what they have learnt over the term.

They also have the opportunity to take part in public performances, both on and off stage. There is something for everyone, from those who would like a career working onstage or behind the scenes, to those who just enjoy making and watching great theatre.

Workshops cost £64 per term and reduced fees are available for those who require financial assistance.

Dave Orme, youth theatre director, said: “Salisbury Playhouse’s Youth Theatre, Stage ’65, is an excellent opportunity for those looking to meet and work with people their age to create dynamic and exciting theatre. There are many ways for young people to get involved here at Salisbury Playhouse.”
