A NEW exhibition of ‘lost’ artworks from the 20th century launches next Wednesday.
Lost, which is at Salisbury Arts Centre until September 28, explores the idea that what gets written into art history may only be the tip of the iceberg.
As an artistic archaeology of the recent past, it delves beneath the surface to a mass of overlooked and forgotten possibilities and creations.
The launch on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm features a live performance and film screening by David O’Connor.
The arts centre is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 3pm and people can view the exhibition for free.
