A CONCERT in Salisbury will be something of a homecoming for some of the members of a young choir, many of whome are former choristers from the city.
Sansara, a choir of young professional singers aged 18 to 23 from across the south, will be performing at St Thomas’s Church on September 5.
One of the choir’s aims is to provide young conductors with the opportunity to direct a group of like-minded and responsive young singers and therefore it has no single director.
The group is also active in the production of new choral works, particularly those composed by student composers.
Tickets cost £10 or £7 for concessions and are available on the door or from sansarachoir.com/upcomingconcerts. To find out more go to sansarachoir.com.
