EIGHT Buddhist Monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery in India will be appearing at the Salisbury Food Festival next month.
They will be demonstrating how to make traditional Tibetan stuffed dumplings known as ‘momos’, at the food festival in the Guildhall Square and at Salisbury Arts Centre on Sunday 21 September.
Fresh from a successful week performing in the Edinburgh Fringe, the monks were even heard in the episode of The Archers broadcast on Monday August 25, repeated on Tuesday August 26. You can catch them again in the omnibus edition this Sunday.
The Salisbury Food Festival runs from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 September.
