A SALISBURY choir needs more men to join its ranks.
Sing for Life is a choir made up of people affected by cancer who enjoy singing and is run by performance vocal coach Robin Gair under the Wessex Cancer Trust.
Mr Gair set up a similar choir in Totton after recovering from prostate cancer and it was so successful and beneficial to members, he decided to set up one in Salisbury.
The Salisbury choir is almost a year old and they have recorded their first CD and are rehearsing for two concerts later this year, but are short of deep voices.
The choir is open to cancer patients and their family, friends and carers and Mr Gair says music and singing can help the healing process.
They meet every Thursday at Parkwood Health and Fitness on London Road from 11.30am to 1.30pm and the first session after the summer break is next Thursday.
