A NEW exhibition will take place at Salisbury Arts Centre from Thursday, October 2 until Sunday, November 9 featuring 35 artists from across the country.

It is part of the annual Open Submission Exhibition and this year will explore printmaking activity through a number of different techniques.

The selected works will showcase styles ranging from traditional hand-printing techniques to modern 3D printing.

The works featured in the exhibition were selected by an expert panel including Devon-based artist Peter Ursem and Peter Riley, curator of the Young Gallery at Salisbury Library.

A launch event will be held at the arts centre on Wednesday, October 1 at 6pm, providing an opportunity to meet the artists and hear from some of the selectors.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the chance to vote for the Audience Choice Prize, the winner of which will take home a cash prize.
