THE Olivier Award-winning hit Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense arrives at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton next week.

The West End production, which is currently on a UK tour, stars John Gordon Sinclair and James Lance as the iconic duo, and is on stage in Southampton from Tuesday to Saturday.

Winning Best New Comedy at the 2014 Olivier Awards, the charmingly incompetent Bertie Wooster and his unflappable valet Jeeves are brought to life in the highly acclaimed comedy by brothers Robert and David Goodale.

Scottish actor John Gordon Sinclair, best-known for playing Gregory in Bill Forsyth’s 1981 film Gregory’s Girl, won an Oliver Award himself in 1995 for Best Actor in a Musical for his West End performance in She Loves Me.

He most recently played Professor Marcus in the West End run of The Ladykillers, and also recently appeared alongside Brad Pitt in the thriller World War Z.

James Lance is known for his roles in comedy series ranging from Teachers and Smack the Pony to I’m Alan Partridge, and has also appeared on screen in films such as Marie Antoinette and Bel Ami.

Co-writer Robert Goodale, who will play Seppings, is an Olivier Award-winning writer whose career began as an actor with stage credits including The Rivals and Comedy of Errors.

He has also appeared on screen in Foyle’s War and Midsomer Murders.

Tickets for Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense are on sale from Mayflower Theatre Box Office on 02380 711811 or online at mayflower.org.uk.
