SALISBURY Symphony Orchestra’s autumn concert once again features young piano soloist Cordelia Williams.
After receiving a standing ovation for her playing of Rachmaninov’s 3rd Symphony a year ago, the orchestra have persuaded her to join them again, this time for Greig’s Piano Concerto in A Minor.
Award-winning Cordelia was brought up in south Wiltshire and is a former winner of the piano section of the BBC’s Young Musician of the Year competition.
Smetana’s Vlatava from Ma Vlast and Brahms’s Symphony No 2 in D complete the programme.
The concert takes place on Saturday at 7.30pm in Salisbury City Hall.
Tickets, at £10 to £18, are available on 01722 434434 or on the door.
