A RINGWOOD-based theatre company will be treading the boards in its touring stage adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s magical novel Stardust.
The Forest Forge production will be touring throughout December and January.
Artistic director Kirstie Davis said: “Stardust has long been one of my favourite books – I love the epic storytelling, the fantastical worlds that we also completely believe in and recognise, and the wit as well as the emotion.
“So we were so excited when Neil Gaiman gave us permission to adapt it for the first time for the stage.”
Catch the show at Cecil Memorial Hall, Cranborne on December 5, at Greyfriars Community Centre, Ringwood on December 6, at Broad Chalke Village Hall on December 11 and 12 and at Ibsley Village Hall on December 16.
There’s a performance at West Tytherley’s King Edward VI Hall on Christmas Eve, and one at the company’s own theatre in Crow on January 2 – this is a specially relaxed performance for children with ASD.
The show moves to Downton Memorial Hall on January 3, the Victoria Rooms in Fordingbridge on January 9 and Ringwood Waldorf School on January 24.
